a little about e

I am an artist, at times a dreamer and a creative designer based in Boston.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architecture from Massachusetts College of Art + Design and a passion for creating spaces, my career journey has brought me to the practice of interior architecture and design. Associate Designer at Gensler by weekday and freelancer by moonlight, my 12+ years of experience includes a range of projects at varying scales and types including residential, healthcare, hospitality, and higher-ed, with my current role focusing on workplace design and the future of work. As an interior designer, I strive to collaboratively craft spaces that are experiential, emotion evoking, and purposeful; environments that provide shelter, healing, learning, inspiration, and that either temporarily or inherently affect our well-being.

The intersections of my passion in design, finding my purpose in community impact and the need for inclusive representation in the architecture + design industry, lead to the Co-Founding of the MiD Collective, a Boston based organization created to amplify, celebrate and nurture the creative voices of BIPOC interior designers in a city and industry where there is so much headway still to make in bridging the gap of minority representation and leadership. A biproduct myself of programs created to propel youth from marginalized communities into career paths not accessible to them, it is important to me that my work not only be in practice but in community. As executive member of BosNOMA, board member of ACE of Greater Boston, I am committed and focused on the success of the next generation; working to build and enhance opportunities that continue to expose our youth to art, design and architecture.

I am passionate not only about the spaces I help to shape but the impact our lived experiences can and should have on design and the built environment and strongly believe that through design, we can tell stories that move one another. I love to approach each project as a story untold.
